During the 1970s and ’80s, champion powerlifter, professional wrestler and artist Steve “Strong” Cepello drew, printed and sold his legendary artwork on tees beside the original Muscle Beach weight pit in Venice. His stand became a landmark of Venice bodybuilding culture and home to some of the greatest graphics the sport has ever seen.
