The Big Three is back in Long Sleeve.
The Y,IWO Big Three aka, squat, deadlift and bench press shirts, feature art from iconic 80’s era artist Brett Lenger. As a young bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast, Brett created drawings for Midwest gyms and bodybuilding publications back in the ’80s. He designed the iconic "Squat ’til you Puke" tee for Moffet’s Gym in Kansas City, which is resurrected for The Y,IWO Big Three. Today Brett lives in Kansas where he works as a trainer and Muscle Activation Techniques specialist and still draws for fun.
Ric Drasin was a fixture among the legendary bodybuilders of Venice and Santa Monica in the 70’s and 80s. A workout buddy of Arnold’s and all greats of the time, Ric forever cemented his imprint on culture by illustrating the original Gold’s Gym logo. It was he and his small crew of bodybuilder friends who forged the legacy and pioneered the style of Muscle Beach and the Golden Era of Bodybuilding.
Resurrecting graphics that haven’t been seen since the 90’s, Y,IWO is bringing back Ric’s SoCal bodybuilding classic drawings for Summer 2019 ━ “Lifestyles of the Ripped and Aimless,” “Gym Bums of California” and “Club Sweat.”
